Allowance, upgraded to a game

Chores become quests.
Allowance becomes mission pay.

Quest Alien turns your family’s chore chart into a space mission your kids actually ask to play. You set the quests and the coin values — they launch, earn, and learn what money means. No more nagging. No more “did you feed the dog?”

  • Free for one kid and one grown-up, forever
  • No ads. No in-app purchases for kids.
  • Fewer reminders by week two — the chart does the asking, not you

  • Streaks they protect — kids check in without being told

  • Real money habits — earning, saving, and goals before age 10

Mission briefing

Liftoff in three steps

You’re mission control. They’re the crew. Five minutes of setup and your household is running itself.

  1. 01

    Post the quests

Turn your existing chore list into quests in minutes. You set the coin value for each — dailies, weeklies, and one-off missions like cleaning the garage.

  2. 02

    Kids fly the missions

Kids check off quests on their own screen, build streaks, and level up their cadet rank. You get a photo or a tap to approve — your call per quest.

  3. 03

    Coins become goals

Kids set a savings goal, put coins aside in the jar, and watch it fill up. What a coin is worth in real life stays between you and them — the app never puts a price on one.

Mission tour

Built like a game.
Works like a chore chart.

  • Quests, not chores

Every task is a mission card with coin rewards you control. Recurring dailies keep routines on rails; one-off quests handle the “can someone please…” moments.

    You stop repeating yourself

  • Streaks & boosts

Consecutive days build a streak with coin multipliers. The motivation to not break an 11-day streak is stronger than any reminder you could give — it’s theirs, not yours.

    Consistency without nagging

  • Real money lessons

Kids set a goal — a bike bell, a game — put coins aside for it, and learn to save, wait, and choose. Delayed gratification, gamified.

    Money skills before age 10

  • Mission control for parents

Approve completions, adjust rewards, and see who did what at a glance. No ads, no chat, no strangers, no in-app purchases on kid screens. Ever.

    You stay fully in charge

More worlds to explore are coming — the age of the dinosaurs is next.

  • Your evenings get quieter

Chores get done because the streak matters to them, not because you asked three times. Allowance day becomes a payout they’re proud of instead of a negotiation.

  • Nobody gets left out

Every kid flies their own missions and saves for their own goal, and either parent can approve from their own phone — so the system holds together even on the chaotic weeks.

  • Cheaper than one week’s allowance

A$39.99 a year covers the whole crew — up to 10 kids and every grown-up, every sibling race and challenge, and the whole 3D room.

Mission control Q&A

Questions from fellow parents

Is this just paying my kid to do chores?

You decide what earns coins and what’s simply expected. Many families keep basics unpaid and reserve coins for above-and-beyond quests. Quest Alien is the structure — the parenting philosophy stays yours.

What ages does it work for?

The sweet spot is 5–13. Younger kids love the streaks and ranks; older kids care more about the savings goals and payouts. Each kid’s experience scales with their age.

Does my kid need their own phone?

No. Kids can use a shared family tablet or check in on your phone with their own cadet profile. A device of their own is supported but never required.

Is real money involved in the app?

No money moves through Quest Alien. Coins are points; you convert them to real allowance however you already pay it — cash, bank transfer, or a debit card you manage. We never touch your money or your kid’s.

What about screen time — isn’t this more of it?

A typical kid session is under two minutes: check quests, tap done, watch the streak grow. It’s a tool they glance at, not a feed they scroll. No ads, no autoplay, nothing designed to hold them.

Can I cancel the paid plan anytime?

Yes, in one tap. Your quests, streaks, and history stay — you just drop back to the free Explorer plan (one kid and one grown-up).

Tonight’s dinner argument doesn’t have to happen.

Set up your first quest in five minutes. By this weekend, your kid will be asking for chores. Really.
